Assistant Coordinator Purchasing and Sales

General overview:


Reporting to the Coordinator Operations Manager / Imports exports, you will effectively assist the Purchasing Department, Product development Managers and support Sales Department.

Key responsibilities:

 

  • In collaboration with product managers, produce the production sheets and monitoring updates.
  • Follow up with suppliers, production and compliance of the different samples types and final products.
  • Creating, maintaining the products and prices list in the database.
  • Producing products sales catalogs and keep them updated (products & prices)
  • Ensure that Showrooms are in order and the samples are up to date (seasonal rotation)
  • Monitoring and updating salesman samples.
  • Support and assistance to the sales force.
  • Attend some sales presentation, when required.
  • Support the marketing team by participating to exhibitions or other events.
  • Perform various control and administration task.



Key Requirements:

CEGEP degree required; related to trade, business or management.
Previous experience (2-3 yrs) experience in a dynamic work environment, changing, and connected to one or more of the following areas: product development, sourcing, compliance, distribution, customer service, logistics, quality control.
Mastery in written and verbal communications skills – English / French.  
Well-organized, detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure and with deadlines.
Available to attend exhibitions or event outside the province of Quebec.
Flexible to changes and learn quickly.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop.  Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
Ability to work by its own and in a team.
